Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, engaged in significant diplomatic discussions with officials from Lebanon and Mali, focusing on the strengthening of bilateral relations and assessing regional issues. In a call with Lebanese Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tarek Mitri, Al Khulaifi addressed the ongoing tensions in Lebanon, specifically condemning the Israeli military actions on Lebanese soil. He criticized these actions as violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and breaches of international law, highlighting the potential threat they pose to regional peace and stability.
Emphasizing the need for immediate action, Al Khulaifi called for a cessation of hostilities and urged adherence to the ceasefire agreement, referencing UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
