Qatar and Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at deepening collaboration between Qatar’s Public Prosecution and Kazakhstan’s Prosecutor-General’s Office. The agreement focuses on developing joint training programs, improving the efficiency of prosecution officials, and sharing legal expertise between the two nations.
In addition to the MoU, both countries finalized an agreement allowing the transfer of sentenced individuals, helping streamline judicial cooperation and ensure smoother legal processes across borders.
The signing took place during the visit of Kazakhstan’s Prosecutor-General Asylov Berik Nogaevich, who met with Qatar’s Attorney-General, Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi. During their meeting, the two sides discussed expanded areas of legal partnership and future opportunities to further strengthen their judicial ties.
